SYMPOSIUM COUNTDOWN
Fostering Green Innovations & Smart Technologies
The 1st International Undergraduate Research Symposium on Agricultural Engineering & Environmental Technology (IURSAE 2026) is a premier virtual platform showcasing innovative research, state-of-the-art technologies, and sustainable practices engineered by young researchers globally.
IURSAE 2026 is the first international edition of the symposium. It builds on five successful national symposia organized by the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, and now opens to undergraduate researchers worldwide.
Under this year's theme, "Smart Horizons: Engineering Tomorrow's Sustainable Agro-Environment," the symposium highlights the synergy between agricultural precision, resource restoration, and climate adaptation. It serves to bridge academic inquiry and real-world engineering solutions to address global food security and environmental challenges.
